Anastasia Ostrowski (MIT Media Lab) and I started the Minds Across Generations initiative in 2019. The initiative brings MIT students and postdocs to Lasell Village, in Newton, MA, to give a 40 minutes talk about their work. Lasell Village is a learning living community of Lasell University for older adults. During their talk, researchers have a chance to practice scientific communication with an audience that is extremely engaged in the topics and the audience has a chance to learn about topics that they may have not known existed.
